Scholastic Book Wizard - This site provides critical information on different books. If you search for a specific title, you will find a summary, genre, and guided reading level for that book! You will also be provided with a link to purchase the book if you would like to do so. This is a great tool to use for finding independent reading books for students. All students should be reading books whose guided reading level falls in their "zone".

Google Classroom - This website can be found by students when they log into their school email. We use Google Classroom frequently in class! On this site, you will find classroom assignments, announcements, and helpful resources related to the material we are covering in class.
Quizlet - Throughout the year, our vocabulary words will be based on different Greek and Latin affixes. Learning the meaning of different prefixes, suffixes, and roots will help students successfully determine the meaning of unfamiliar words in the future. Students can use Quizlet to study these words! The site will be updated each time we begin a new set.

Freckle Education - This website allows all students in a classroom to read an article on the same topic, but at their own reading level! We use this site frequently in class and often have weekly assigned articles. Students can complete this during class time, but also can read articles of their own choosing at home. They also can practice specific ELA skills, such as point of view, inferring, making connections, and finding the main idea.
